In one last musical hoorah before I leave Kansas, join myself, Ken Rodgers, piano and other wonderful musicians from the community in a celebration of what we have gained this year: relationships, knowledge of self, dreams and hopes for the future! Enjoy classical song, musical theater, jazz and hymns combined in an extraordinary program of emotion delving into the conflict of loss and living.
Marie will compete for the first time in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Regional Finals in Boston.
Marie will be reprising her unparalleled role as Soprano 2 in Janáček’s Diary of One who Disappeared, this time at the 92nd St Y, alongside Benjamin Hochman, piano, Jennifer Johnson Cano, mezzo-soprano and William Ferguson, tenor.
